Fire tests of textiles, building materials and components
Flammability testing is one of the most important testing procedures for home textiles and building materials, among other things. Due to the burning behaviour of textiles, life-threatening situations can occur in closed rooms. To avoid this it is necessary to check the burning properties of textiles in advance. Fire behavior of building materials and components DIN 4102-1 / B1
To quality as Bulding material B1 (flame resistant material), the requirements of “Kleinbrennerprüfung” B2 in compliance with DIN 4102-1 and the fire shaft test B1 in compliance with DIN 4102-16 must be met.
