- Yarns and twisted yarns: basic concepts, different types and classification, the weight classification of textile threads. Practical demonstration of relevant yarn tests in the laboratory.
- Basics of textile production: basic concepts, various methods, properties, features and application areas of textile fabrics.
- Production methods and machinery: a survey of the various production steps, practical presentation of warp production up to the finished fabric.
